Conventional and mechanized tunnelling in soil and rock

On-line 3 days training session

On the 26^th, 28^th and 30^th September, over half-days, a training session on ‘Conventional and mechanized tunnelling in soil and rock’ was co-organised with Mexican Association of tunnel and underground space engineers.

The objective of this training session was to present the construction methods and their application in soil and rock tunnelling. The most important criteria to select a method was presented and illustrated through cases studies. The course highlighted recent improvements that lead to the expansion of these fields of application fields.
