Marc Vandewalle’s career in steel fibre reinforcement spans over 25 years. He was highly involved in the research and development of Dramix ® steel fibres at Bekaert.

He is a member of various European standard committees and working groups.

Marc Vandewalle has authored many articles and presented papers on congresses in Barcelona, London, Madrid, Mexico, Milan, Moscow, Oslo, Paris, Santiago de Chile etc.

He is one of the world’s leading authorities on the use of steel fibre reinforced concrete in underground structures.
