Monitoring Specialist with more than 16 years working experience in the construction industry, a deep understanding of structural and geotechnical behaviour, ground engineering, tunnelling and rail engineering. He has contributed on some of the most relevant European tunnelling projects like the Barcelona L9 and London´s Crossrail, both as contractor and client. He was more recently the Monitoring Manager at Crossrail.

He has written papers on instrumentation and monitoring precision, technical recommendations, etc. He is currently working on a PhD titled “Instrumentation and monitoring contracts in geotechnical engineering”, preparing guidelines for an optimal performance of the I&M contracts.
